The artist Evgeny Ivanovich Ministers was born in 1945 in the city of Kirillov, however, he really glorified the Belozersky region. Even as a child, he loved to draw, especially characters from books and Russian folk tales. Being already an adult, Evgeny Ivanovich did not lose his interest in the fairy tale, which was expressed in the engravings he created from the series "Russian Folk Tales", which at one time visited the exhibition in Moscow and were awarded a diploma of the second degree. Diplomas received at Vologda exhibitions are also evidence of recognition of the artist's work.

Yevgeny Ivanovich Ministrov can rightly be called a patriot of national culture. After all, he devoted his work to his native history, nature, folklore. A lot of people in the city of Belozersk knew him. And not only because for 13 years he worked as an artist in the district House of Culture, making visual propaganda for cultural institutions of the entire district. Everyone who remembers the artist speaks of him as a kind and very sociable person, a passionate lover of nature, a traveler, a romantic. "The calm, free nature of the nature of the Belozersky region, with its blue lakes, absorbed Zhenya with his radiant eyes, kind and cheerful joking character" (S. Donin, photographer).

Evgeny Ivanovich did not live a very long life, but he left behind a very good memory and artistic heritage.
