The Museum's mission
The Belozersky Regional Museum of Local Lore stores, identifies, collects, studies, publishes, ensures the safety and security of museum objects and museum collections on the history of Belozerye.
Our collections come from the past, help to find inspiration in the present and are preserved for future generations.
The Belozersky Museum is a multifunctional center of local lore of Belozerye, which publishes museum objects and museum collections through public display.
The museum fund of the institution is a cultural reserve that guarantees the study of the local history of our region and the provision of dialogue between the museum, its collection and visitors.
The replenished, studied and presented fund of museum collections allows for equal access to the tangible and intangible cultural heritage of the region for residents of the Belozersky district.
The main priority of the museum staff is the quality of museum services at all stages of communication with the visitor.
We keep the past, collect evidence of the present, and work for the future.
